Memory: 16GB (16x1gb) DDR2 400 SDram in four memory card installed, Maximum ram is 64GB using 4 memory cards and 16x4GB sticks.
Hard Drives: Takes up to 5 1 inch, 80 pin, U320 10k or 15k SCSI hotplug drives. This unit ships with 3x146GB U320 10K drives installed, we have many options however for adding drives to your unit. Maximum hard drive storage 1.5TB with the use of 300GB hard drives. (There is a SAS version also of the 6850 machine that takes either 2.5" or 3.5" drives.)
